About Dustin
DUSTIN
Dustin, age 13, was born 4/99. He is a handsome young lad with brown hair and sparkling blue eyes. Dustin can be affectionate, polite and appreciative. He is also funny and has a good sense of humor. He often greets people with a great big smile. He loves to listen to music, sing and dance. Dustin likes playing outside - riding his bike and skateboarding and he loves to wear his helmet when doing these activities. He is very athletic and will engage in almost any sport.
Dustin will be in the 8th grade this school year. He attends a behavior school and receives special education services for behavioral and academic struggles. Dustin has made significant gains in his ability to engage with peers, follow directions, and stay on task. He is a bright and creative child.
Dustin is one of six siblings and four of the siblings have been adopted. Dustin is the second youngest of the siblings; he has a strong bond with his siblings and talks about them often. Dustin also maintains regular contact with other family members that are very important to him.
Dustin has worked hard to gain strategies to manage his behavior. Dustin's behavioral issues stem from his history of abuse and neglect. He is eager to have a family who will put his needs above all else and in whom he can trust. Dustin wants to be loved, cherished and accepted as an unconditional addition to a special family. Dustin may benefit from being the youngest child in the home, if possible. Dustin will thrive in a two-parent family with lots of supervision, consistency and nurturing.
Adoption subsidy will be available for an approved family. Please send a current home study to:
