About Tyler
Tyler is a quiet, but energetic young man who loves playing sports and being outdoors. He loves fishing, camping and just being in nature. Tyler has made significant progress in the past few years with the support of caring adults. He was able to maintain his foster care placement for nearly a year and a half and has a strong bond with his foster family. He has proven to be a carrying and compassionate young man when his foster mother came home from the hospital, making sure she was comfortable and helping her with chores around the house. “I want him to have a good family” the foster mother stated. “He is a good boy”. Unfortunately, Tyler cannot achieve permanency in his current placement and needs a family that will be able to make a permanent commitment to him.
Tyler has experienced significant loss in his life and has been exposed to unhealthy environments, in the past . He functions well in a consistent and structured environment. He responds well to redirection and parental guidance. Tyler functions best with younger children and may adjust better to a family with younger siblings or where he is the only child. Tyler receives special education services. He is doing well in school academically, with minor behavioral issues. His family will need to advocate for him in the school setting and participate in his counseling. Tyler’s greatest need is for a family that will love him unconditionally and help him be the best he can be.
