James is definitely the strong, silent type preferring to stay on the sidelines of social situations until he feels completely comfortable. When he does feel at ease, he can be engaging and even witty. James can also be helpful and caring to others. He prefers the company of adults to his peers but can be a bit of a loner at times.
James’ favorite pastime is breakdancing. He is a talented performer and isn’t shy about showing off his skills. He also enjoys playing sports, drawing and playing video games. James has made improvements in school recently but could use a bit of support and encouragement in this area. He says he likes math and hopes to be an architect or a computer technician when he grows up. These days though, you will find him hitting the courts more than the books.
Like many foster children, James has endured some hardships and disappointments that have had a profound effect on him. He needs a family that understands where he is and what he has been through. They also need to be willing to help him enjoy being a child and let go of his past. James has the potential to be an amazing son. He just needs an amazing family to bring that out.
