Arvell is a very energetic 12-year-old African American boy with black hair and brown eyes. He is very engaging and caring. Arvell loves sports; his favorite team is the Bears. He also enjoys playing video games, doing anything active, reading, playing with toys and doing stuff in the community.

Arvell can struggle with anger at times. He is able to identify his rage but struggles to implement what he has learned in therapy. Arvell is currently in a group home and is learning to trust others. He takes pride in being able to go multiple days in a row without being aggressive. Arvell needs concrete step-by-step directions for everything you would like him to do or otherwise he becomes overwhelmed quickly.

His worker recommends that he is placed with a two-parent family or a single male. If there are other children, they should be a couple of years older than he is, since he can be competitive. Arvell also says that he would like to live with a Christian family who regularly attends church.

Arvell has had many foster placements over the years and is looking for a family to call his own forever.
