Ronald loves to cook! He has dreams of being a top chef one day. Social workers feel there's something very special about (future) Chef Ronald. Upon first meeting him, you will feel that too!

People who know Ronald best describe him as a big “Teddy Bear” type. He can be easily misconstrued as intimidating because of his size and stature, but in reality, Ronald is kind-hearted, good-natured and a joy to be around.

This young man has a sensible outlook on life. In his own words, he'll say, "I've got some things to work on," but people who know Ronald best say this youngster he is not afraid of hard work. His aptitude for learning was quite evident during his Wednesday's Child taping as he asked great questions about the culinary arts, and easily (eagerly) followed the recipe.

Ronald is extremely polite. He is the kind of child who responds, "yes ma'am" and " no sir" without any prodding. Ronald's teachers say he does well in school and is excellent at setting goals and achieving them. Outside of school, he sets excellent goals when he is weight training and running -- increasing the weight and distance steadily as he gets stronger and stronger.

When asked about the adoptive family he is hoping for, Ronald says he wants dad who will take him fishing and work on cars with him. He is also hoping for a mom who will share her recipes, and nurture his desire to be a chef. Ronnie is very hopeful that he will find a forever family soon. Someone who will embrace him as their own, and continue to encourage this goal-setter to reach his highest potential.
