Diligent Recruitment of Families for
Children in the Foster Care System
Diligent Recruitment of Families for Children in the Foster Care System is a 2010 diligent recruitment project administered by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services in Los Angeles, California. The target population of the project includes:
- African American youth
- Latino youth
- Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth
- Probation and deaf youth
The purpose of the project is to increase permanency outcomes for the target population by increasing the number of resource families within African American, Latino, LGBT, and deaf communities.
