Step Up! Diligent Recruitment Project
Step Up! Diligent Recruitment Project is a 2010 diligent recruitment project administered by the New Mexico state government. The target population of the project is families who reflect the diversity of children in care within communities of support in seven transformational zones in New Mexico.
The purpose of the project is to:
- Improve permanency planning options and outcomes for children
- Expand concurrent planning and placement stability for children ages 3 – 19
- Develop and implement a customer service model
- Evaluate and enhance recruitment and retention of resource families who reflect the diversity of children in care
