About the Presenter

Scott MarcusScott "Q" Marcus refers to himself as a “THINspirational Speaker” because he started speaking professionally after losing 70 pounds in 1994 and learned that the largest barrier to happiness and progress is perfectionism - and now proudly carries the mantle of “RP” or “recovering perfectionist.” Scott is now the CRP (Chief Recovering Perfectionist) of ThisTimeIMeanIt.com and the past president of the northern California chapter of the National Speakers Association, as well as a syndicated columnist and author of seven books, including one on advice to provide to your children. Scott speaks to individuals and organizations across the county on how to improve productivity and morale by lowering stress, reducing perfectionism, and improving one's attitude. He has spoken to Foster Parent Conference associations across the U.S. and was the closing keynote speaker at the national conference in San Antonio a few years ago. He is known for lively, playful presentations and has been described as a cross between “business 101, group therapy, and a southern revival.”  Find out more about him
