About Dawaun

DAWAUN (11/93) has hope that he will be adopted one day. He understands that he can not return to his birth family and so he hopes he will be adopted and gain a forever family. A cool thing about Dawaun is that he has insight into his situation. He is an emotional kid who wants to have friends and who wants to fit in. He enjoys basketball and tries to practice good sportsmanship. Acquiring lasting friendships is one of his goals. Dawaun is also very creative and he loves to draw. At school, he works at grade level and is making good progress. Dawaun has a loving heart. He cares about others and he deserves to have someone who will care for him. Dawaun knows he deserves to be treated well, whether he is perfect or not. Dawaun is willing to do his part to make an adoption work.
