Tyra and Melina are close African American sisters who get along well with each other and other kids and enjoy being together and knowing they are loved and cared for. They also enjoy shopping, listening to gospel music, riding in the car, playing “UNO”, and watching animated movies. Both sisters look forward to going to college and getting a job. Tyra, born in 2007, is a happy and joyful child who enjoys going out to eat, dancing, watching “CoComelon” and “Gracie’s Corner”, and playing games with balls. Melina, born in 2010, is a shy child who loves to smile! She enjoys playing kickball, playing with her Barbie dolls, and watching “Good Times”. At school, where she earns good grades, Melina enjoys participating in art and gym classes and using her laptop. Tyra and Melina need a loving adoptive family who will give them the attention, support, encouragement, structure, and nurturing environment they need to continue to thrive and reach their goals. Their family will also need to support their desire to maintain their relationships with their foster parent as well as with their sister who has been planned for separately.
